
Jurga:
- January 3, LTV: talk show “Be pykčio“ with Jurga, hosted by Leonidas Donskis.
- March 15: release of the first Jurga’s radio single ‘Instrukcija’ from her new album under the same title. This song became the top idol in Lietuvos Top 20 (“The Lithuanian top 20”) at Radiocentras station, where it was also nominated a golden song, and No. 7 in the top 40 hosted by M-1 radio station. It also hit No.1 in the top 10 airplay of the radio station FM99. By the end of the year ‘Instrukcija’ scored 39 among the hundred of the most popular songs in 2007 in the radio station M-1.
- Jurga’s song Saulė vandeny (“Sun In The Water”) is included in her first compilation “Made in LT: The Best of Lithuanian Music” released in March.
- Jurga, together with the philosopher Leonidas Donskis, became the ambassadors of the project “Pasilik Lietuvoje” (“Stay in Lithuania”) in April. They state that one can create a meaningful life in native country, too. In April, the ambassadors of the project “Pasilik Lietuvoje” were granted the audience by Valdas Adamkus, President of the Republic of Lithuania.
- April 13: SIENA club, Kaunas. Jurga and the group staged their first concert featuring a new programme, and marking the beginning of the ‘Instrukcija’ concert tour.
- April 19: release of the second Jurga’s album, ‘Instrukcija’. Less than in a fortnight, over 10,000 copies of this album were sold and it was awarded a gold status. Album presentation was accompanied by the sell-out concert in the Galaxy hall of FORUM PALACE, Vilnius, with over 1,200 sold tickets.
- April 21: Jurga – a cover face of the TV antena magazine. Presenting her newest album Jurga gave interview for the LTV show “Labas rytas”, weeklies Laisvalaikis, Žmonės and other media channels.
- April 26: Jurga’s live concert was recorded in LNK studio and broadcasted in August via the LNK channel.
- May 4: Jurga’s album ‘Instrukcija’ is digitally released in internet.
- May 12: Jurga staged a concert in the Annaberg castle in Bonn, Germany.
- May 20: Jurga performed at the concert during the festival of Army and Society Unity in Vingis Park in Vilnius.
- May: Jurga’s song ‘Instrukcija’ was included in the compilation of songs for the international music festival EuropaVox in France.
- June 20: exactly in two years after Jurga’s debut with the hit “Nebijok” (“Don't Be Afraid”), the second radio single from the album ‘Instrukcija’ is released. This time it was the song “Renkuosi žemę“ (“I choose the land”) which became the most popular in FM99 radio station. On the same day Jurga became a cover face of the Mes magazine. The song “Renkuosi žemę” became the number five among the Lithuanian Top 20 at Radiocentras station, and was granted the gold status.
- July was a release time for a videoclip recorded during the concert tour for a leading song of Jurga’s album ‘Instrukcija’.
- July 21-22: Jurga participated in the international Baltic Song Festival at Karlshamn, Sweden where she performed the ‘5th Season’ and won the first place.
- August 4: Jurga’s song ‘5th Season (M&D Substance Mix)’ became the No.1 in Power Hit Radio station.
- August 8: Jurga staged the acoustic concert at Juozas Vitkus Engineer Battalion in Kaunas.
- August 18: ‘5th Season’ – the second Jurga’s videoclip from the album ‘Instrukcija’ – is released. This clip was aired in the ‘Fresh’ position at MTV Baltic, and rocketed as high as number five in the Baltic Top 20. On the same day, the radio single ‘5th Season’ was released internationally. The song was broadcasted by Latvian and German radio stations. It remained as number one for four weeks in Top 33 of FM99 radio station. On September 19 the single ‘5th Season’ was digitally released in internet.
- September 24: Lithuanian radio stations welcomed “Smėlio žmonės” (“Sandmen”) – the third Jurga’s radio single from the album ‘Instrukcija’. The song scaled as high as No. 4 at the Lithuanian Top 20 of Radiocentras where it became golden; No. 7 in the list of the top 40 at M-1, and the hottest No. 1 in the top 10 of FM99. The year’s countdown shows the 51st place for “Smėlio žmonės” in Top 100 of M-1 station in 2007.
- October 1: Jurga performed on the Pink Ribbon Day’s event at Vilnius Small Theatre.
- October 15-20: Jurga visited Chagcharan, the capital of Ghor province of Afghanistan where she brought over one tonne of charity items and staged two concerts: one for the armed forces of international mission serving in Afghanistan, and another for the teachers and students of Chagcharan Girl School. Jurga became the first foreign singer who arranged a concert for local population in Ghor province. During this trip she was recording her third video clip this year for the song “Smėlio žmonės” and its English version “Sandman‘s Child”.
- On the 21st of October, Czech Republic televisions first channel CT1 has showed a nine minute reportage about Lithuania and Jurga which was taken in the beginning of September, in Vilnius. This reportage was on-air through the travel and culture show Objektiv that has a millionth audience. Moreover, it was also shown several times through the news television CT24 and cultural channel CT2.
- October 23: Jurga went with the group to the concert tour to the United States where she arranged 8 concerts in Chicago, Cleveland, Detroit, New York, Baltimore, Washington, Boston and Philadelphia.
- November 1: Jurga was the first among the Lithuanian performers awarded the MTV statue at the MTV Europe Music Awards hosted in Munich, Germany. The Lithuanian singer was a winner in the category of the ‘Best Baltic Act’ (the best performer from the Baltic States). It is the biggest music achievement in the history of Lithuanian pop music. During a break in her concert tour in USA Jurga hopped in for the participation in MTV Europe Music Awards, and already on the next day continued her concert tour performing in New York.
- After returning from a concert tour in USA, on November 22 Jurga arranged a concert in Hungarian capital Budapest and on November 24 in Slovenian capital Ljubljana.
- November 17: it is the second time this year when Jurga’s image is on the front page of the TV antenna magazine.
- November 29: release of Jurga’s compact single ‘5th Season’, in addition to the original version containing also three remixes of this song, and a videoclip. At the FORUM PALACE in Vilnius Jurga arranged her sellout concert after returning from the concert tour, which like in April was enjoyed by nearly 1,300 of spectators. The Hungarian group Amber Smith also took part in the concert as a special guest. In a little more than a month Jurga travelled for about 50,000 km and performed in six countries. By this tour the singer surpassed the group LT United which was extremely popular during the previous year.
- Visitors of Delfi internet portal voted Jurga as the winner of the LT Tapatybė (“LT Identity”) of November.
- December 17: Jurga staged the acoustic charity concert at Vilnius University Children Hospital in Santariškės.
- December 19: Jurga became a nominee of the award of Vilnius city municipality for promoting the Vilnius name. As a protest against the attitudes of the municipality representatives towards the professional art, the singer thanked for the attention granted to her yet refused to accept this award.
- In December Jurga was elected for her activities as the Woman of the Year 2007 by the journal Moteris.
